Biography	Craig Fitzsimmons was born on 13th April 1979 an the Royal Bolton Hospital, 13 weeks premature weighing 1 lb 12 oz, Due to his size and weight he was given the last rites at birth and his parents (Marie and Barrie) were told he had little chance of survival.At 7 years old Craig started training in Thai Boxing at the Bolton Thai Boxing Club with Sandy Holt and Master Sken. At age 13 Craig was already the youngest in the U.K to recieve the red instructors grade armband and qualified to instruct. Whilst at Withins School in 1995 Craig suffered an accident and had to have emergency surgery to repair a torn tendon in his hand and a shattered knuckle on his index finger. He was told he would never fight again using that hand but Craig thought better of it and 8 months later won the North West Junior Super Featherweight Title at competitions in Stockport. Now many years on , craig the eldest of 6 children runs his own Thai Boxing club in Westhoughton teaching Thai Boxing to adults and children and enjoys spending his time with his partner Toni, and 2 sons Daniel and Ben.
