Biography

Peter was born in 1914 and spent much of his life both in playing and in the administration of badminton and tennis. He was a POW and after the war was selected for the England Badminton Team gaining five caps. He became Administrative Secretary and later President of Markland Hill Badminton Club. At the same time, he became a Wimbledon umpire and officiated in a number of finals. He was later appointed President of the Badminton Association of England and was on the national committee for many years.
