Biography

Brian started playing cricket with Egerton C.C. at the age of 14 and captained both the 1st and 2nd teams and for over 35 years has served on the Committee. He was made a Life Member and was elected President in 2004 and still continues as an active member. He has been a Bolton League umpire for over 20 yearsand is a Vice President of the Bolton League. In addition to playing cricket Brian also played foootball for Walmsley Church FC and then Harwood FC. He has also played badminton for Turton BC followed by Walmsley Church BC where he became Secretary for may years. Egerton Park Bowling Club is now one of Brian's great interests.
