Biography	Captain of the athletics team in the 1948 London Olympics, Harry competed in the decathlon but the event that would make his name was the 400 yard hurdles in which he won a place in the Guinness Book of Records for seven consecutive AAA victories. A sports park at Harper Green School is named in his honour.
