Biography | A hero for the Lancashire and England cricket sides of the 1940s, he is best remembered for bowling out the great Australian, Sir Donald Bradman, twice in the same test match, once for a duck. No mean performer with a bat, he played in 266 matches for the Red Rose County between 1933 and 1950. |
