Biography	Injured in the early stages of the infamous 1936 Berlin Olympics, Cyril became the hero of the 1938 Australian Empire Games, where he set records in both the 100 and 220 yard races. He was expected to take his success into the Olympics before the war intervened but he was chosen for the English Rugby Union team in 1948.
