Biography	Tommy was an ex-boxer of the old, hard school, but a more gentle person you couldn’t meet. He was associated with Bolton Lads Club all his life starting with fitness training for the gymnastic and football teams. He then came back into boxing, coaching right up to his death in 1988. He was awarded the MBE.
