Biography	Ted was an ex-boxer of the old school, who gave 60 years of his life to the boxers at Bolton Lads Club. He was a boxing trainer at the club before becoming boxing secretary and matchmaker right up to his death, aged 85, in 1995. Ted also became one of the country’s top timekeepers. He never missed training and travelled all over the country with the club. He spoke his mind but had a heart of gold, always wanting the best for “his lads”.
