Biography	Vic started wrestling as an amateur in 1959 at Bolton United Harriers, Bridgeman Street, Bolton. He turned professional in 1961 and became British Middleweight Champion in 1966. Vic wrestled all over Europe, and on television on ITV’s ‘World of Sport’ on Saturday afternoons with massive audiences on TV and packed venues. He joined his brother, Bert Royal, for the tag team wrestling, which also proved to be very popular. After his brother retired from the ring, Vic carried on wrestling professionally for a further four years.
