Biography	Maureen formed her first rounders team in 1980, with the aid of £15 sponsorship and has played ever since, the majority as captain of the team. She has played a major role in developing young team players which ensures the continuity of the team. Also a keen netball player, playing since the 1960s, Maureen was part of the DB3 Division 1 championship winning side of 2004/2005. She has also written netball reports for the Bolton Evening News.
