Biography	Eddie joined Bolton Lads Club as a teenager and boxed at top level well into his twenties, where his skilful boxing helped him to win most of his contests. He also helped with coaching later in his boxing career. After leaving amateur boxing, Eddie helped to set up New Bury and Farnworth Youth Club, which he has been running since 1990. In 1998 he started the club’s boxing section. Nobody is more dedicated to helping others than Farnworth’s own Eddie Birchall. He is a great role model.
