Biography Chris first represented Great Britain aged 14 at the Biathle World Championships in 2001, in Germany where he finished second in the 13/14 age group. He represented Great Britain at the Biathle World Championships in 2002, in Sardinia, finishing 12th in 15/16 age group, aged 15, and again at the Biathle World Championships in Monaco, finishing 3rd in 15/16 age group, aged 16. He competed at the British National Championships each year to gain selection, and won the British National Title in 2003
Chris has competed at the British Tetrathlon Nationals (swimming, running, shooting and fencing) and finished 3rd in 2002 and 2nd in 2003. He competed at the British Modern Triathlon Nationals, finishing 4th in 2002 and 2nd in 2003.

He represented Great Britain in the European Triathlon Championships in 2002 in France, finishing 42nd in Europe, and in 2003 in Bulgaria, finishing 23rd.

In 2003 he won the British Modern Pentathlon National Championships. He represented Great Britain at full modern pentathlon in the Swiss, German and Holland Open Championships, finishing 3rd in Switzerland, 8th in German and 1st in Holland, scoring over 5000 points. Chris has competed at various modern pentathlon events across the country as well as competing in the local cross country leagues and road races for Horwich RMI Harriers.

He was named “Sports Performer of the Year” at the Greater Manchester Sports Awards.
