Biography	Joan has been a member of the Bolton Bridgeman Amateur Swimming Club since being a child. In the 1960s she was one of the first swimmers in the area to start synchronised swimming and went on to represent the club at national level. Joan has represented Great Britain as a judge at the Olympic Games and Commonwealth Games. She is on the ASA Committee and is still the club’s synchronised coach.
